About Pacific Opus Music Festival!

The Pacific Opus Music Festival, held annually in the heart of Vancouver, is a celebration of the artistry, heritage, and evolving interpretations of piano and violin music.

Our festival brings together world-renowned faculty, passionate students, and enthusiastic audiences to engage in a rich tapestry of performances, masterclasses, and workshops. Pacific Opus Music Festival brings together students, educators, and performers to explore and celebrate piano and violin artistry in a supportive environment, providing a platform for young musicians to learn, connect, and flourish in Vancouver.

Location

The Pacific Opus Music Festival will be hosted at two of Vancouver's premier music venues: the VSO School of Music and Tom Lee Music. These vibrant settings provide state-of-the-art facilities, fostering an inspiring environment for young musicians to learn, perform, and collaborate. Located in the heart of Vancouver, these venues offer an accessible and professional atmosphere that enriches the festival experience for participants and audiences alike.

Early Bird Fee: $85 USD (available until the early bird deadline)
Regular Fee: $125 USD (applies after the early bird deadline)
The application fee is non-refundable and must be paid at the time of submission.

Application Fee

Piano Division: $2,500 USD
Violin Division: $2,000 USD
These fees cover the cost of instruction and participation in the chosen division.

Tuition Fees
Applicants are required to submit a video featuring 2 contrasting pieces with a total duration of no more than 15 minutes. This video showcases the applicant's musical skills and style diversity.
