Selection Guidelines

Contrast in Style or Period

Select works from different musical periods or styles. A well-balanced choice might include, for example, one Baroque or Classical piece paired with a Romantic or 20th/21st-century piece. This contrast allows us to assess how you adapt to different musical languages and stylistic demands.

Duration

Each work should be approximately 10 minutes or less.

If you choose a longer piece, feel free to select an excerpt or a specific movement that best demonstrates your abilities within the time limit.

Recording Quality

Please ensure clear audio. Both live performances and studio recordings are accepted, as long as the sound quality allows us to appreciate the full detail of your playing. High-quality recordings enable us to better evaluate aspects like tone, phrasing, and dynamics.

Submit Application

Your recordings are our first opportunity to understand who you are as a musician. We're excited to experience the depth, versatility, and creativity you bring to each selection. We can't wait to listen!

Accepted Formats

We accept .mp3, .wav, or links to YouTube videos. Make sure your submission includes both pieces clearly marked.

Labeling

Each file should be labeled with the title, composer, and your name.
